What is the NYC Craft Beer Festival - Winter Harvest?
The NYC Craft Beer Festival - Winter Harvest - is an American craft beer tasting event focusing on winter seasonal brews with approximately 75 breweries and 150 American craft beers.
When and where is the event being held?
The 2012 event is being held on Saturday, December 1st at Basketball City's Pier 36 indoor event space (299 South Street in Manhattan). There will be two sessions to choose from.
Session I: 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Session II: 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM
How do I get to the event?
Basketball City's Pier 36 indoor event space (@ 299 South Street in Manhattan) is accessible by public transportation. Please check out our DIRECTIONS page.
What does the ticket include?
All tickets will gain entry into the venue for at least 2 1/2 hours of unlimited beer tasting. All attendees will receive a complimentary souvenir tasting glass and have access to seminars. VIP and Connoisseur ticket holders will be given an extra hour and first access to the event. Connoisseurs will have access to the exclusive Connoisseur's lounge with additional ultra rare American craft beers, and light fare. Please take good care of your tasting glass as we will not be issuing extras to those to break them!

How can I purchase tickets?

How many people will be in attendance?
Each session will hold approximately 2,000 people.
If I go to one session, can I stay for the 2nd session?
You must have separate tickets to go to both sessions. Each session is separately ticketed and at the end of the first session all attendees clear out in preparation for the next session.
Will there be a coat/bag check?
Yes, we will have a coat check option for a small fee.
Is there parking?
There are several parking garages near Basketball City's Pier 36. If you're lucky (and read signs carefully!), you might even snag a great parking space on a nearby street. For information on local area parking garages, please see our DIRECTIONS page.
Are children allowed?
No. The event is 21+ only.
Can I buy beer at the event or bring empty or full bottles home with me?
Absolutely NO beer can be removed from the festival site nor is it offered to be purchased. By law, all alcohol must be consumed in the festival site only. Taking empty bottles out of the festival is illegal. This is considered an open container. Open containers are not allowed on the streets of New York or in an automobile.
Is there a DDP (Designated Driver Program)?
Sorry, this is NYC! Public transportation is highly recommended!
Is food included in the ticket?
Food is NOT included in the GA/VIP ticket, however there will be great food for sale with suggested beer pairings. Connoisseurs will receive some light fare.
Can I bring my own food or beverages into the festival?
No, and your personage will be checked for weapons upon entering. If food or beverages happen to be discovered, you will need to dispose of it prior to making entrance.
What forms of payment will be accepted at the event?
Most items for sale at the event will be cash only. There will be ATMs onsite.
Are there ATM's available at the event?
Yes! Please remember any items for sale at the event will be cash only.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, no pets allowed.
How can my company become a sponsor?

How can I apply for a press credential?
Please contact info@nyccraftbeerfest.com with your full information and qualifications and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Can I store my bike at the event?
No. We will not be able to accommodate bike storage at this event. Please make alternative plans for arriving on foot to the event location. Any bikes locked to the surrounding gates, utility polls, etc. will be consider abandoned and removed. If you do plan on arriving by bicycle, please consider locking it to a public bike rack on an adjoining street.
